Benevolent Fanendo Adi Gives N200,000 To Men Of Pen Pushers

The player of Columbus Crew FC of Ohio in USA Fanendo Adi has written his name with a golden pen by joining thousands of caring Nigerian in Diaspora to provide support men of pen pushers in Nigeria and beyond with of a sum of N200,000 as palliatives to ameliorate the effect of COVID-19 on them.

This is a token is part of love and appreciation to the Nigerian media for doing a great job in promoting Nigeria football and footballers.

Adi reiterated yesterday in an interview with NSM group that as long as God empowers him, he will continue to support humanity.

He appealed to all his fans in the media and supporters of Nigeria football to stay safe. Covid-19 is real but we shall overcome.

The elated NSM Chief Admin thanked the Wale Ajayi (SAJ) expressed appreciation for the kind gesture toward men of the fourth estate of the realm.

According to him, yes he has done it; Fanendo Adi has just dropped 200k for the house.

It will be recalled that on Wednesday Adi donated 2000 bags of Rice worthy millions of naira to the Benue State Government as part of his contribution to cushion the effect of the Pandemic Covid-19 to the people of the state.

Montage Community Football Tourney Registration Ends October 30

Registration for the 2026 edition of the Montage Community Football Tournament will close on Friday, October 30, organisers have announced.

The tournament coordinator, Mr Raphael Ekpang, disclosed this on Thursday, urging interested teams across the six Area Councils of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to take advantage of the remaining days to register.

Ekpang said registration had been ongoing since Monday, encouraging eligible teams to complete the process before the deadline.

The tournament, themed “Montage FM 99.7: Empowering Youth, Uniting Communities Through Football,” is scheduled to kick off on November 3, 2026, with playoffs across the six Area Councils of the FCT.

The grand finale will hold on December 5, 2026, at the Old Parade Ground, Garki Area 10, Abuja, where the top four teams will compete for first-, second- and third-place honours.

A total of 48 teams will participate in the competition, with eight teams representing each of the six Area Councils.

The participating teams will compete for cash prizes worth over ₦2 million and other valuable rewards.
