We need new Gymnastic Hall for Us Children Appeal to Buhari

Gymnasts consist of Children who have made a personate appeal to President Muhammadu Buhari to build the standard Gymnastic hall for them to be able to compete in the world and win more medal for the country.

18 Gymnasts traveled to on the 1st of August to South Africa uncelebrated and unnoticed but on Sunday 11th of August 2019, they are back with medals for the country.

The elated children on the arrival to Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport in Abuja urged the Federal government under the leadership of Buhari to come to their rescue by building modern gymnastic Hall and equipment to enable the children to train well in anticipation to win more medals for the country.

A Gold Medalist, Stephanie Onusiriuka said: “I want Nigeria to grow more and I want President Muhammad Buhari to build a modern gymnastic center and new equipment for children to enjoy because the ones that we have is injuring us.” She appealed.

As for Akachi Umeh who won Silver medal expressed: “I feel very proud of myself right now.

“Well, I would want the President to buy new equipment because some of our equipment is very old. I hope to do better by listening to my coach and improve more in my skills, I know that one day I will represent Nigeria at the Olympic level.”

On the eve of the closing ceremony alone, Ghana clinched eight gold medals, winning the ultimate prize in women’s hockey, 200m men’s athletics event, high jump, men’s football event, and four boxing gold medals in boxing. All in one night.

Ghana also made history by becoming the first country to win god in both men’s and women’s football events at the Games.

The closing ceremony of the Games saw star performances from star acts such as Stonebwoy, Stanley Enow, Wiyaala, Innoss’B, amongst others.

As Ghana continues its upward trajectory in the realm of sports, the nation stands poised to achieve even greater milestones under the visionary leadership of President Nana Akufo-Addo and Sports minister, Mustapha Ussif.
