Youth Council Honours CEO of BOB and SIL Global Services, Joins Forces to Combat Drug Abuse

The National Youth Council of Nigeria, Sapele Local Government Chapter, led by Comrade Abebe Kingsley, paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Akuyoma Bobson, CEO of BOB and SIL Global Services, to establish a partnership aimed at combating drug abuse in the community.

During the visit, the youth council recognized Mr. Akuyoma Bobson’s exceptional contributions to society, honoring him with the Award of Excellence as a Distinguished Leader of Inestimable Value to the Fatherland.

This prestigious award acknowledges his outstanding leadership and commitment to making a positive impact.
The partnership between the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Sapele Chapter, and BOB and SIL Global Services is expected to yield significant results in the fight against drug abuse, ultimately benefiting the community.
“We are committed to working together to address the scourge of drug abuse in our community,” said Comrade Abebe Kingsley, Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Sapele Local Government Chapter. “We believe that this partnership will be a significant step towards achieving our goal.”
Mr. Akuyoma Bobson, CEO of BOB and SIL Global Services, expressed his gratitude for the award and his commitment to supporting the youth council’s efforts.
“I am honored to receive this award, and I am committed to working with the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Sapele Chapter, to make a positive impact in our community,” he said.

AUDA-NEPAD CEO Highlights Collaboration as Catalyst for Africa’s Economic Competitiveness

The Chief Executive Officer and National Coordinator of AUDA-NEPAD Nigeria, Hon. Jabiru Salisu Abdullahi, has called for stronger public-private partnerships to boost Africa’s global competitiveness.
Speaking at the High-Level Business Forum 2025 organised by the NEPAD Business Group Nigeria in Lagos, Hon. Abdullahi said Africa’s transformation will be driven by enterprise, not aid.
He urged governments to create enabling environments that foster innovation, industrial growth, and sustainable development.
He reaffirmed AUDA-NEPAD Nigeria’s commitment to working with private sector actors and development partners to deliver key initiatives in agriculture, ICT, manufacturing, and renewable energy under the AU Agenda 2063 framework.
The event brought together top business and policy leaders, including representatives from the African Business Roundtable, the Bank of Industry, the Africa Finance Corporation, and the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria, among others.
