Bayern Munich ‘Launch £80m Bid For Paulo Dybala’

Bayern Munich have reportedly made the first move for Paulo Dybala, after launching an £80million bid for the services of the Juventus star.
Dybala is claimed to be unsettled in Turin and considering his options, and reports in Italy suggest Bayern have acted quickly to show their intent.
Italian publication Corriere dello Sport report that Bayern are ‘really serious’ in their move to secure Dybala’s signature, and have gone straight in with the large bid.
Juve are said to value the Argentine in the region of £100m, despite his playing time being limited during the campaign just finished.
Following the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo, Dybala was forced to play second fiddle in the forward line and registered his lowest goal tally since the 2013-14 season when he played for Palermo.
Dybala hit double figures during the last campaign, but his 10 goal-haul was down on recent years.
Bayern’s intent to land the skillful star is based on the need for attacking reinforcements, following the recent departures of Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery.
The veteran duo spearheaded the Bayern attack for much of the last decade, but have moved on following the expiration of their contracts.
The Bundesliga giants have also been linked with a move for Manchester City’s Leroy Sane, as well as Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi.

FIBA, Kida Threatens Nigeria with Basketball Ban
… wants to force Nigeria into participation
World basketball body, FIBA has issued Nigeria an ultimatum to suspend its International withdrawal or risk getting additional years of wilderness.
Engr. Musa Kida is in the circle of events as a recipient, as the country sits out of international basketball as put out by the Federal Government of Nigeria.
The Government had called for Nigeria’s withdrawal as a result of in-fightings amongst stakeholders, lack of a functional league and a stall in the growth of the game at home. It said this measure will allow the country take a deep breathe, reconcile grey areas, re-strategize and get better as a basketball nation, instead of the cosmetic outward appearance of beauty but inner state of rancour and disunity.
In reaction, sources postulated “Nigeria is a sovereign nation and will not be blackmailed carelessly. Nigeria bigger than kidda and his cohorts”.
“Moreso, it’s understood that FIBA allegedly wrote Kida alone. The body has not written the Federal Government.
The Ministry has received no communication to that effect. Kida is not the Federal Government of Nigeria.
