Bayern Munich ‘Launch £80m Bid For Paulo Dybala’

Bayern Munich have reportedly made the first move for Paulo Dybala, after launching an £80million bid for the services of the Juventus star.

Dybala is claimed to be unsettled in Turin and considering his options, and reports in Italy suggest Bayern have acted quickly to show their intent.

Italian publication Corriere dello Sport report that Bayern are ‘really serious’ in their move to secure Dybala’s signature, and have gone straight in with the large bid.

Juve are said to value the Argentine in the region of £100m, despite his playing time being limited during the campaign just finished.

Following the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo, Dybala was forced to play second fiddle in the forward line and registered his lowest goal tally since the 2013-14 season when he played for Palermo.

Dybala hit double figures during the last campaign, but his 10 goal-haul was down on recent years.

Bayern’s intent to land the skillful star is based on the need for attacking reinforcements, following the recent departures of Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery.

The veteran duo spearheaded the Bayern attack for much of the last decade, but have moved on following the expiration of their contracts.

The Bundesliga giants have also been linked with a move for Manchester City’s Leroy Sane, as well as Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi.
