It was a bright day for the Sun Football Club of Abuja as they were in imperious form on Monday as they trounced their opponent Goodland FC 5-2 at the ongoing FCT FA League played inside the Area 3 Sports pitch in the federal capital Territory.

An early goal from Sun FC attacker, Nkeanyi Chukwuebuka in the 8th minute opened the flood gate of goals in the second match of the match-day 15 of the 2019 FCT FA League.

Oba Murphy brought the game to parity in the 15th to unsettle Sun FC who took control of the game from the kickoff.

Eight minutes later, Okpabi Kingsley returned Sun FC into the driving seat as his shot left Goodland FC keeper motionless and helpless to save the ball from going into the net.

Onyema Chukwumaobim and Ugor Sunday compounded Goodland FC woes when both scored to increase the visitors’ lead in the 69th and 78th minutes.

Abdul Salif however, reduced the tally to keep the lead to five-goal margin when his low shot left the opposing keeper with no option.

Meanwhile, Josh FC is currently entertaining Great Rising while FC Liberty will lock horns with WACO Football Academy in today’s last match at 4 pm.
